Hi everyone! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had to work extra hard this weekend ヽ(;▽;)ノ I had 3 shoots I had to style while simultaneously working 2 days of the weekend (I count Friday) and then I had to diligently work on cosplay stuff when I got home >.< I really want to be mostly done by the 6th! Ugh and a lot of computer problems as well this weekend... Not a good thing!
Either way, I'm waiting on some photos for things to share with you and as well as a few publications my styling work is featured in ( I have like 5 or 6 I need to share/waiting on to come out) so lots of content indeed coming up!
Anyways, about this post. I've been following Claudia's work for awhile now, ever since she shot my friend Rihanna in Mexico, I have been in love! The only thing is, is that she is based in the mid west (>人<;) so it was close to impossible to arrange a shoot. Finally she had a job out here and was able to stay for 3 days! So we for sure made a plan to shoot! The only problem was, neither of us had a car (−_−;) so I asked Scott what he was doing that day, and he decided he would also shoot and we could all go to a great location! So it was me, Claudia, Scott, Lorena (princess Lorena! ) and Lucy (Lorena's beautiful mother) and we all drove up to Vasquez rocks! (Which is where Star Trek was filmed!) so. Had the responsibility of styling two shoots, and still making sure everything went alright for Scott's shoot >.< it was of course a hot day, so we brought lots of water and tried our best to be hydrated! Me and Claudia bonded a lot over nerdy things like video games and comic books! It's really nice when you can nerd out with other girls, especially when they are the same flavor of nerdy ☆〜(ゝ。∂) hehehe.
For the clothing I wanted to do so wing kind of contrasting to the landscape, but still makes sense? So I took most of my style inspiration from the film " Walk About " (which is basically about a teenager girl and her kid brother getting stranded in the middle of the Outback (and they are in their school uniforms) and they have to fend for themselves until a teenage aborigine boy finds them and helps them survive). The colors are very primary to add to that "school girl" look, but I think it's kind of French as well. Kind of funny, but I've been listening to Iggy Azaleas Track "Work" and that lyric came into my head, and I think it's perfect since she is from Australia too (and it's descriptive to her being in Australia) .
So yeah! I hope you all liked my post! Hope it wasn't too much text :p

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing this week? Was your Memorial Day weekend good? Get a tan? Eat some BBQ? Get intoxicated and go swimming? (Smartest combo ever) haha I didn’t do any of those things >.< . I actually stayed in all weekend and worked very diligently on cosplay stuff for AX 2013! I am actually almost done! But yesterday, that all changed, lol. My friend Allison H. and are going to instead be doing a cosplay from “Chobits” ( Allison being Chii/Elda and I being Freya) . IM SO EXCITED GUYS! But I only have 35 days to do both cosplays and finish up mine! ヽ(;▽;)ノ haha I can do it! So many photos to ensue for sure!
Anyways, on to my actual blog post! If you have been reading m blog from the past few months, Creature of Habit is nothing foreign to you. If not, I’ll tell you a little about it! Each piece is hand made from the beautiful and talented, Vanessa Walton. She has a great passion for everything pretty, ethereal and fantasy. I think it shows pretty well in her designs! I was asked to model for her spring lookbook a few months ago, and I couldn’t be more excited! This was right up my alley! I also got to meet/ hang out with/ model with Chloe Dykstra! (I’ve been E-Stalking her for the past 2 years haha) she was every bit of nerdy, beautiful and fun as I expected! And she was very kind yet confident too! Modeling with her in these photos were a lot of laughs! (As you can see in some photos) it was a really nice set! Not to mention it was Chloe’s idea to do a “lolita” theme and I freaking love lolita ! \(//∇//)\. If you haven’t checked out Vanessa’s shop, you should do so Now! and check out my other posts on Creature of habit as well!
(Feels good to finally post all the photos I wanted to for this lookbook! Summer creature of habit lookbook coming up soon! )
Also! I got great news yesterday that I was featured on Teen Vogue for beauty Yesterday!

Hello everyone! I know it’s been a hot minute, and I’m sorry (T ^ T) I’ve been really sick since Friday! Today I finally feel a little better! (I had to work so I didn’t give my body much rest!) so when I’m home, I try to stay in bed…
Anyways! You know how I told you about my new job? My good friend Sylvia and her boyfriend Francis (pictured above) decided to come visit me and take some photos in the shop! So I took a quick lunch break and Sylvia took some beautiful photos of Heirloom Vintage ! My boss, Masa Ono, has amazing style and taste and I think it really translates well in the way he decorated the place ! I love the Americana feel to it (I’m always playing western music in the place haha) and it just feels very comfortable.
Also! This was my first time meeting Francis! I’ve been shooting with Sylvia for awhile and she would always talk about him and show me pictures, so it was great to finally meet! They are such a cuuuuute couple! I mean not in a sappy kind of way, but the compliment eachother so well, and it’s like they are always on the same page, idk I think that’s pretty cool! And they both are really artistic and have great style! You should check out his blog! He does great menswear fashion!
Also! I was just featured in the New Cosmo Girl Indonesia!
It’s in Indonesia, so I’m sorry
but it’s still pretty awesome! I was so excited to receive it in the mail! Thanks again Cosmo Girl for featuring me!
Anyways I hope you all are having a great week! For my cosplay readers, it’s fanime this weekend and I’m sad I can’t go
but for those of you going have a grand ol time!

“How do you like it? How do you like it? ” hahah sorry! That song has been stuck in my head all week! How has y’all’s weeks been? Mine has been very hectic, working at the vintage store is so wonderful! It keeps me so motivated to continue to do stuff when I’m not working! I’ve also had a really important meeting this week about something big! I’ll be able to tell you all later about that ☆〜(ゝ。∂) ! I’ve been also working a lot more on cosplay stuff! Which is exciting, I’m really honing my craft as a designer I feel like!
Anyways, on to my outfit! The precious Sylvia and her awesome boyfriend Kenny, stopped by the shop on Tuesday and spent a lot of time there keeping me company! We decided to take a few photos on my lunch break in and outside the shop! (Indoor ones coming soon!) I think they turned out so uber cute! I got this dress from Jet Rag Vintages 1$ Sunday Pile sales. (I get there early and wait for them to open new vintage and fight for the good stuff!) I was so happy when I got this! It was quite long, so I altered the hem to make it a baby doll and I really love the turn out! The trim and color is so feminine and amazing! Also my mom gave me these new adorable glasses that will pretty much go with EVERYTHING. In my wardrobe! I was so happy when I received them! And I think the glasses and the dress are the perfect pair!
Well I hope you all have a great Thursday! I have to clean my loft and continue to work on cosplay stuff! Talk to you soon!

Hello everyone!!! I hope you are all doing alright! I know Thursday is ridiculous for having my first post of the week >.<. But!!!! I recently got a job at Heirloom Vintage in little Tokyo and it is amazing! My good friend Olive hired me and my first day was Sunday and its such a cool job! I get to do all the online stuff, and I will be organizing the etsy shoots and such whist managing the store front. My boss, Masa, he is so nice too! He really trusts Olive’s and mine opinions and tastes which is really awesome. Don’t worry though! I’ll still be blogging a lot! Just was getting settled!
Also, I played some card games recently with friends, but the most vexing was defiantly poker… Whenever I played it in video games I never knew what I was doing and would only win by chance. I actually had to be taught the rules and it’s a really fun game! You have to be really good with math (which is not my strong suit) and have a good memory! There are actually a lot of proficient women poker players like stylish poker diva Liz Lieu . It’s really such an interesting “sport” or game I guess more so. But it really takes a lot of skill to be good at o.O . Here’s to more fun nights with drinks and card games!
I want to thank Banggood.com for this adorable sweater! The little pink flowers make any outfit so adorable! I love bubble skirts as well so I thought it was a great pairing! my aunt Michelle gave me this skirt about 4 years ago and it was really long. So I shortened it to make it more bubbly! I accidentally washed it one day and it’s wool so it shrunk ALOT so it’s almost an impossible size to wear or style with. I have a really small waist luckily, but thankfully it’s poofy for my big hips >.<
Anyways I hope you all have been having a great week! Some secret and exciting things are happening for me soon! So happy and excited!
